Unfortunately for SilvertipsChica, the Tips couldn't reverse the tide of the sloppy play witnessed at home against Prince Albert, but the defeat was an order of magnitude worse: the Silvertips lost 5 to 1 against the (hated) Kelowna Rockets.
Leland gave up all five goals on 28 shots...not his finest game.
The Tips have some answering to do...to themselves, to their coaches, and to the fans. Thankfully, they have a chance on Saturday night. The (hated) Vancouver Giants come to town and I think no two teams despise each other more than these two. They'll need to reinforce the glass for the big hits, AS LONG AS the Tips come to play. I think they will.
I think these last two losses will motivate the guys and we're in for one hell of a slobberknocker. That's right, slobberknocker. I'm bringing that word back from the dead. Mark the date and time; it's the start of a trend.
