One comment about Friday's game about the Winterhawks I forgot to make on my last post: refereeing through the first period or two was terrible.
I think the WHL must have called Poole in between periods because he (thankfully) swallowed his whistle in the third. He made some atrocious calls against the Tips (one while he was literally standing next to Curtis Mucha while play was on the OTHER END of the ice).
I think he was channeling Everett referee nemesis Chris Savage...
