The boys spanked Leo's beloved Wintersquawks on Saturday night--as well they should, and last night's game against the Americans was a gritty gutsy win. The Tips could easily have given up after being down twice, but they maintained their composure and came away with a great victory. Hats off to Barrie for another tremendous night in net.
Good call by Becanic in selecting Beach (hmmm, over Hamill?) for an opportunity in the shootout. Kyle came away with his first goal.

Couldn't agree more, Silvertips Chica. The Tips won that Portland game (even though they gave us a scare in the 2nd period). We're on a roll in 2008! Let's get some wins and get to the playoffs!
