One can only hope that the boys have not expended all of their adrenalin worrying about the trade deadline, and that they come out fast and furious for a full 60 minutes of smash mouth hockey against the rival Thunderchickens. We need those 2 points to stay in the race for the home ice advantage in the upcoming playoffs.
Glad to see that Bauer didn't draw a suspension from the game against Tri-City. I'm not sure he warranted a game misconduct either (yes, I am a skeptical homer fan), since Tolle skated off the ice (ok, with just a little help) and then came back fairly quickly. Perhaps players have learned how to embellish a hit from our very own Kyle Beach. Kyle has on many occasions looked to be dead or dying, only to stagger off to the bench and then come right back and not miss a shift. It's a tactic not to be proud of, but it certainly can work on any given night.
