The Tips absolutely dominated the 2nd period...except for a turnover in the last minute, a missed call by Smith, and then a pass out front for a late score.
Except for that sequence, it was 19 minutes of vintage Tips hockey.
Dan Gendur is one goal away from a hat trick and I thought the Tips spent too much time trying to force it to him. Uh, except for Zach Hamill who actually skipped the open pass to Gendur to take the shot himself (selfish).
For his part, Gendur made some great plays of shots AND passes, so I think he knows it will come naturally if he earns it.
